Community signal-location and outreach project

Volunteer Interest Survey

Help us locate the source of transmissions entering or interfering with the Wichita 725 GMRS repeater, identify the business or other entity using the radios, and offer respectful education about licensing, repeater permission, and correct radio programming.

Purpose, safety, and conduct: Volunteers may help with monitoring, direction-finding, documentation, technical review, or planned educational outreach. Direction-finding teams must remain on public property and obey traffic and property laws. No volunteer should confront anyone or make accusations. Contact with a business or other entity should occur only after the source is reasonably documented and should be handled by designated outreach volunteers as a courteous offer to help review licensing, repeater permission, equipment, and programming.
